What ages are your programs for?
We offer programs all ages, homeschool and holiday programs are offered for three main age groups:
*Kids: 5-8 years
*Tweens: 9–12 years
*Teens: 13–17 years
Some programs may combine ages depending on group size and dynamics.
What types of programs do you offer?
Kindred Humans offers a range of experiences including:

Each program is designed to foster creativity, connection, and confidence.
What is the focus of your programs?
Our programs focus on meaningful engagement through hands-on, social, and creative experiences. This includes collaboration, problem-solving, communication, and opportunities for self-expression.
Who are the facilitators?
All programs are designed and facilitated by experienced, qualified educators. Facilitators hold current First Aid and CPR certification, Blue Cards, and bring genuine experience working with young people.
How many participants are in each program?
We keep group sizes intentionally small to support connection and quality experiences.
Typical ratios are approximately 1 facilitator to 10 participants.
Do participants need to commit to a full term?
For homeschool programs, yes. After an initial trial session, families commit to the remainder of the term.
Holiday programs (such as Kindred Create) require booking for the full week, as projects and experiences build across multiple days.
What are the session times?
Session times vary by program, but most run as half or full-day sessions (e.g. 9:00am–2:00pm).

Where are programs held?
Locations vary depending on the program.

All details are provided prior to the program commencing.
What happens if it rains?
For outdoor-based programs, we adapt depending on conditions. This may include modifying activities or moving to a suitable indoor space where possible.
In cases of severe weather, sessions may be rescheduled or credited.
What if we can’t attend a session?
For term programs, missed sessions are generally not refundable. In some cases, and with sufficient notice, we may offer a make-up session or credit where possible.
Holiday programs require full-week attendance and are not refundable for individual missed days.
What should participants bring?
This depends on the program, but generally includes:

Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes. Sibling discounts may apply and will be outlined at the time of booking.
Do you accept NDIS funding?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept NDIS funding at the moment. We are currently looking into this.
Is the program suitable for neurodiverse participants?
We aim to create inclusive and supportive environments. Our programs are best suited to participants who can engage in a group setting with a degree of independence.

How do I get started?

Sign up and pay for the program, complete the enrolment which will be emailed to you before attending the program.

Attend a trial session (for term programs) or confirm your place
Do you provide transport?
No, families are responsible for drop-off and pick-up.
