You acknowledge that participation in programs offered by Kindred Humans may involve inherent risks, including the risk of personal injury. By enrolling in and attending our programs, you agree to participate at your own risk.
In this Agreement, “Services” refers to all programs, workshops, events, and activities delivered by Kindred Humans, including creative, indoor, and outdoor experiences. “Injury” includes all forms of physical, mental, or emotional harm that may arise in connection with participation, including but not limited to strains, cuts, falls, dehydration, anxiety, trauma, or, in rare cases, serious injury.
Our Services are designed for children, teens, and adults, depending on the program. Where participants are under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms on their behalf. We reserve the right to refuse or cease participation if appropriate consent has not been obtained.
Acknowledgement of Risk
By participating in our Services, you acknowledge and agree that:
-
Participation is voluntary, and you may choose not to participate in any activity at any time.
-
You understand that activities may involve a level of physical, creative, or outdoor engagement that carries inherent risk.
-
You accept full responsibility for any risk of injury that may arise through participation.
-
You agree to inform us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs prior to participation.
Release and Waiver
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Kindred Humans, its directors, facilitators, employees, contractors, and volunteers from any claims, loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in our Services, including where such loss or injury may result from negligence.
This Agreement is binding on you and, where applicable, your child, as well as your heirs, executors, and assigns. If any part of this Agreement is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
Medical Consent
You authorise Kindred Humans to arrange emergency medical treatment if required. Any associated costs are the responsibility of the participant or their parent/guardian.
Safety and Supervision
Kindred Humans is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment. Our programs are designed and facilitated by experienced, qualified educators, and we implement appropriate supervision, risk management practices, and emergency procedures.
