These Terms of Service apply to all participants and families engaging with Kindred Humans programs, events, and services. By making a booking, attending a session, or indicating your agreement, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
These Terms also apply to information provided on our website, including program details, booking processes, payment terms, and our cancellation and refund policy.
Participants Under 18
Kindred Humans offers programs for children and young people. Participation by anyone under 18 years of age requires consent from a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on their behalf.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or participating in our services, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, forming a binding agreement between you and Kindred Humans.
Conditions of Participation
To ensure a safe and positive experience for all participants, you agree to:

Kindred Humans reserves the right to refuse or discontinue participation where there are safety concerns or where these conditions are not met. Where a participant’s behaviour poses a risk to themselves or others, or significantly disrupts the group, Kindred Humans reserves the right to suspend or withdraw participation. Refunds will not be provided in these circumstances.
Photography and Media
From time to time, photos or videos may be taken during Kindred Humans programs and events for the purpose of sharing and promoting our services. These may be used on our website, social media, or marketing materials. For participants under 18, images will only be used where consent has been provided by a parent or guardian. For adult participants, images may be used unless you notify us that you do not wish to be included.
Cancellations, Refunds and Commitment
Kindred Humans programs are designed as term-based experiences to support consistency, connection, and group cohesion.

Missed sessions are not refundable or transferable
In exceptional circumstances, a credit may be offered at our discretion.
Program Changes
Kindred Humans reserves the right to modify program activities, locations, or schedules where necessary due to weather conditions, safety considerations, participant needs, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Collection and Late Pick-Up
Participants must be collected promptly at the end of each session. If you are running late, you must notify us as soon as possible. Repeated late collection may incur additional fees and may impact ongoing participation in the program.
Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Kindred Humans is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Risk Acknowledgement
Our programs may include outdoor, physical, and hands-on activities. By participating, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks involved and that participation is voluntary.
You confirm that you (or your child) are physically able to participate and that any relevant medical or health conditions have been disclosed to us.
Third-Party Providers
Some activities may be delivered by external providers. In these cases, participants may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions or waivers. Kindred Humans is not responsible for the services provided by third-party operators.
Medical Information and Emergencies
Parents or guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date medical information, including any conditions, allergies, or additional needs that may impact participation. In the event of illness or injury, you authorise Kindred Humans to seek appropriate medical treatment where required. Any associated medical costs are the responsibility of the participant or their parent/guardian.
Communication
By enrolling in our programs or events, you agree to receive relevant communications from Kindred Humans, including booking confirmations, updates, reminders, and important program information.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Kindred Humans is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our services, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Payment Terms
All program fees are outlined at the time of booking and must be paid in accordance with the stated terms. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel participation where payment has not been received.
Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and program designs provided by Kindred Humans remain our intellectual property. They may not be reproduced, shared, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued participation in our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
