Holiday Programs

Kindred Humans Education creates meaningful, real-world learning experiences that build connection, curiosity, and confidence. We believe learning should be hands-on, shared, and engaging, supporting the whole child both socially and intellectually. Our programs are designed to foster a genuine love of learning and a strong sense of belonging.

Kindred Create
8-15 year olds

Kindred Create is a hands-on holiday program where creativity, curiosity, and craftsmanship come together. Designed for tweens & teens who enjoy making, exploring, and experimenting, each day invites participants into a calm, welcoming space to engage in a range of tactile, meaningful projects.

Each weekly program is thoughtfully designed with a curated selection of activities, which may include air-dry clay, tie-dye, felt work, sewing, beading, mosaic, candle and terracotta decorating, printmaking, and other creative processes. This allows each week to offer a slightly different experience, while still building skills, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment.

With a focus on process over perfection, Kindred Create encourages participants to slow down, take pride in their work, and leave with a collection of handmade pieces they truly value. More than just crafting, it’s an opportunity to create, connect, and experience the satisfaction of making something with your own hands.

Kindred Build is an engaging holiday program where creativity, engineering, and problem solving come together. Designed for young people aged 8–15 who love to design, construct, and experiment, each day invites participants into a dynamic, collaborative space to take on hands-on building challenges.

Each weekly program is thoughtfully designed with a curated selection of design and engineering tasks, which may include marble runs, bridge and tower construction, chain reactions, obstacle courses, and team-based design challenges. Participants will test ideas, refine their thinking, and work together to solve problems, with each challenge offering new opportunities to explore concepts such as stability, force, measurement, and efficiency.

With a focus on iteration, collaboration, and creative thinking, Kindred Build encourages participants to test, adjust, and try again. It is not about getting it right the first time, but about learning through doing, thinking critically, and building confidence through shared challenges.
